From Substance to Visibility
From Søren’s perspective as chairman, Gabriel has reached a point where its
greatest strength also creates a new challenge. The company has built depth,
discipline, and credibility over decades. Systems that work, standards that hold,
and a way of operating that earns trust in demanding markets. But Gabriel is less
visible than it deserves to be.
The next phase is therefore not about changing direction, but about allowing
more of what already exists to be seen. Translating substance into presence. “If
you are very strong at what you do, you also have a responsibility to let it be
seen,” Søren notes.
“If you are very strong at
what you do, you also have a
responsibility to let it be seen“
In that sense, the future is less about reinvention and more about articulation: letting the company’s strengths travel further than before.
The story of Gabriel from 2001 to 2026 is a story of a company that learned to
globalise through sales, to lead through relationships, and to grow through the
disciplined pursuit of potential. Understanding that behind every small improvement lies massive work and commitment from the entire organisation. Still, from
the mill by the river to showrooms in the world’s design capitals, the logic remains
the same:
See the potential and act on it - with quality, expertise and close relationships with
customers.
